 ABADDONIA Wherever you were before, whatever you were doing, it no longer matters. Your life is about to be changed in ways you never expected. You will blink and wake on an uncomfortable, threadbare and faded sleeping bag beneath a weak lean-to of wood and leaves, placed in random location in an eerily quiet forest. A small wooden crate sits nearby along with a small backpack and a tool. Inside the crate, two to three items, seemingly haphazardly tossed in with little thought. Some feet from there a torn newspaper clipping flutters beneath a twig. "VIRUS OUTBREAK!" cry the large letters at the top of the article, but the rest is faded, too faint to read save for a the words "flesh" and "fog". It makes little sense. At least until you begin to explore. Broken down cars on a crumbling road. Abandoned houses and shacks with left behind belongings. A farm where hay bales still lay rolled as if the job of harvesting was started but never completed. In the far distance things like radio towers, water towers, disused power lines and even evidence of once bustling civilization can be seen, reachable but only with time. You may be alone. You may not be. Wild animals are a potential threat, as may be those who don't take too kindly to strangers in this place ravaged by an unknown virus. Thirst, hunger, lack of sleep and injury are other dangers that must be dealt with. But if that, somehow, isn't too much to handle, consider then the guttural, inhuman growls heard sometimes behind doors, and the fact that sometimes a thick mist falls out of nowhere, bringing with it uncomfortable feelings, power and energy drains, and more... Do you have what it takes to survive The Mist and make it to winter? Abaddonia is based on the early access game Mist Survival with some elements of Silent Hill.
