Welcome to Abbadonia (Map and Important Locations)

Welcome to Abaddonia
THE VALLEY

"The Valley", as the current residents have come to call it, is a roughly 65 mile long shallow valley of indeterminant location. Those from the United States of modern earth would liken it's climate, foliage and general geography to that of somewhere "upstate" in the Pacific Northwest, likely that of Washington or perhaps even parts of Canada. Most written language on signage or other objects is unable to be translated, giving no actual indication of world or region. The most advanced technology that can be found is similar to that of the late 1990's, though it seems that whomever this had been home to were people that were slow to adapt to new ideas. As such very little in the way of modern appliances can be found.

Whatever disaster struck this place has seemingly left in in some sort of limbo, buildings as they were whenever the last sentient being was present, not falling into ruin yet but absolutely showing the signs of time and disuse. All that's known now is that monsters roam, animals are wild and there are those who would rather kill than attempt any level of cooperation with their unfortunate neighbors.

What's in the Valley?
Bandit Camps
Though the number of bandits seems to have reduced, or at the very least they've backed off of bothering the other survivors for the time being, their remnants still dot the landscape. Be they occupied or abandoned, shabby cabins, brokendown RVs, piles of gabrage and discarded weaponry can be found surrounded by ramshackle corrugated metal fences. It's best to just leave them be if you're not actively looking for a fight.
Fire Towers
There are four fire towers total scattered through the higher hills surrounding the area, allowing for a wider view of the valley as a whole. One was taken over by bandits and surrounded by their usual fencing but has since been cleared out and not reclaimed.
Garages
The garage in the main road was cleaned up and put to use some time ago by Duo Maxwell, though he isn't terribly bothered if others use it. There is a second garage to the East, on the hill that's nearly the center of the valley that is currently not being used by anyone.
Motels
There are two motels located in the area - one along the main road and the other just before the small town at the very eastern end of the valley. Both like to become hubs for Runners and other smaller monsters to hide in during the day.
Radio Tower/Relay Towers
There is one large broadcasting tower towards the center of the valley. It was once a bandit hub for a particularly dangerous group of bandits, but was eventually cleared out and has since been given to a couple of survivors to protect it. It is capable of both sending out radio signals but also relaying ones sent towards it via the scattered smaller relay towers within the valley.
Military Tunnels/Silo
There is a sizable military silo in the south sitting on the mountain, difficult to get to dude to the steep cliffs blocking most sides. The entrance, however, is located on the east side. There are containers, two security posts, a garage and military tents, all abandoned. Surprisingly there are no infected to be found anywhere within the base., and a recent exploration of the silo revealed that it is unnervingly empty. Something was in there at one point, but even the equipment that should have been inside is no where to be found. There are also a small number of dead-end tunnels that appear to have been started with the intent to connect them to others but was never seen through to completion.
Various Buildings
Abandoned mostly brick and mortar buildings, potentially former offices, shops or the like. Some may be infested, but most just seem to be collecting dust on old computers and files that can't be translated yet.
Water Towers
There are only a few water towers around the valley, the most useful one being in the center of the Farmland fields. They are on the smaller size, capable of holding about 6,000 gallons of water. They were previously inaccesable but have since been unlocked and are capable of being used to store and provide water.
Mine
The mine is the only location to get various metal ores, sulfer and saltpeter with a pick axe. Though it was once home to the Berserker the creature has since been dispatched, allowing it to be explored and mined freely.
Farmland Settlement
Now a budding settlement of survivors colloquially called "the farmlands" or "the farm settlement", the entire area has been surrounded by perfectly smooth, very high stone walls. More detailed information can be found here
Estates
A former housing development. As of week 25 it is also now a part of Farmland Settlement. Despite the high concentration of Runners that were hiding within the houses they have been cleared and made livable. For some reason, there is a small collection of zombies that still linger around one house in particular, and a very odd man who has insisted they keep duct-taped oven mits on their hands. They are absolutely still zombies, but they don't behave the way the other monsters do. There is also a small park next to broken cars and other litter. It seems innocuous at first blush, a left behind relic of the time before this place had been ransacked by whatever event created the Runners and other infected. However if you wait a moment near by, you'll notice that the bouncing riding horses on springs seem to be moving on their own... Further information also found here
Gas Station
A relatively safe area, also enclosed by the expanded walls as of week 25. The inside of the small convincence store has been fully cleared out and is mostly trashed, but there is a functional workbench in disconnected storage area.
Abandoned Town
To the furtherst north east of the valley, the abandoned town seems like it might have once been an idylic small community that was slowly beginning to expand and grow before everything went wrong. It is now one of the most dangerous sections of the valley, infested with rare, difficult to handle monsters, dark areas and floors that are beginning to lose their structural integrety. It has been visited a few times by the survivors to gather supplies and some mysteries have been found within, but there is still more to be found.
Tunnel
The only area that seems to indicate that there was once a way to leave, though it has since been boarded up and blockaded in such a way that there is no way to get through it. There is a small camp in front of it, as if there were once people who protected this barrier to keep people from leaving. It is now abandoned, the RV trailers only an echo of what used to be...
Unfinished Lumbermill
What appears to be the start of a lumber mill that was never fully completed. There is no large equipment, just a sizable storage building with loft levels where people have appeared to camp for safety once upon a time, filled with a lot of precut wood stacked up high. Several smaller buildings and even an abandoned truck and a forge are littered in the immediately cleared area. Located in between the farm and the estates, east of the watchtower.
School
A fairly basic, nondescript red brick school building, roughly two stories tall. A distorted, time-worn sign at the front seems to indicate that the school's name may have started with "A" (the only time in which a letter has been possibly recgonizable to anyone so far), and the inside layout hints at it potentially being a mid-high or high school. A Kelpie had taken up residence in the flooded basement, but it has apparently escaped since the first encounter.
Onsen
A simple stone onsen settled next to a small abandoned office building off the main road to the west. The lower floor of the building has been slightly fixed up for changing rooms, and a small stone wall similar to the farmlands has been set up around it for protection.
Church
A small, rustic style church, dilapidated and unused for quite some time, possibly abandoned even before the valley was. There are pews inside, many broken, some of the walls are beginning to rot, and the bell from the spire has long since fallen and broken through, now resting cracked on the floor. Though basic, plain crosses do decorate a small portion of it, there is nothing else that denotes a denomination.
